Apostle Herman Robinson III
founder & faithful servant

Apostle Herman R. Robinson, III, began his life’s journey on September 24, 1957 in Charleston, SC. he attended Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia, where he received his Bachelor’s degree. Further educational studies led to a Master’s of Divinity in Theology from Virginia Union Seminary. Apostle Robinson was joined in holy matrimony to Sharilyn Bryant Robinson on August 16, 1986. As a couple, they exemplified strong Christian and family values. They gave unselfishly of their time to family members, friends and to others for the betterment of the community. Apostle Robinson received his certificate of ordination from Trinity Baptist Church in  Richmond, VA. He started Trinity Church in September 1986. It later became Trinity Worldwide Outreach Ministries.

 Apostle Robinson took pleasure in giving back to the community with involvement in various organizations, including Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, the Sertoma Club of  Charleston, the Exchange Club of Charleston, Toastmasters International (Early Birds and Soaring Eagles Chapters). He was also a member of the Mayor’s Clergy Advisory Council and the Carolina Catholic Professionals.  Apostle Robinson believed that knowledge was power and thus participated in many local Bible Study Groups. Although Apostle Robinson was dearly loved and will be sorely missed, God in his infinite wisdom called him home and ended his early journey on Sunday, January 20, 2019.  He is resting in the arms of his Lord and Savior who loves him and will keep him in perfect peace for all eternity.
